Forté is nog altijd bezig met de ontwikkeling van hun programma Forté Agent dat zonder problemen nieuwsgroepen kan binnen halen. Sinds een aantal dagen is versie 3.0 build 830 beschikbaar waarmee je van meerdere pop-accounts e-mail kan binnen halen en via meerdere smtp-servers je e-mail kan versturen. Daarnaast is er ook ondersteuning toegevoegd voor het gebruik van SSL waarmee de verbinding versleuteld kan worden. De meegeleverde aankondiging ziet er als volgt uit:
