Software-update: Growl 0.7.3

Growl is een handig programma voor het Mac OS X-platform waarmee de notificaties van andere programma's op het scherm getoond kunnen worden. Zo kan het programma aMSN bijvoorbeeld een klein pop-upje weergeven wanneer er iemand online komt en het programma YMail geeft een pop-upje weer met de melding dat er nieuwe mail is aangekomen. De ontwikkelaars hebben versie 0.7.3 de deur uitgedaan met de volgende veranderingen sinds de laatste vermelding in onze meuktracker:

Growl 0.7.3 is released! This is a maintenance release, which addresses an issue with the menu bar icon. This release also improves the artwork (provided by Rich Mullins).

• Changed for the GrowlTunes stars from black star (★) to pinwheel star (✯) to work around the Mshtakan issue introduced in Mac OS X 10.4 (Commit 2943)
• Possibly resolved a high resource usage issue regarding networking (Commit 2945)
