XPero heeft een nieuwe versie van XPize uitgebracht, en wel 4.2 beta. Dit programma is bedoeld om de userinterface van Windows XP of 2003 wat op te leuken. Er zitten namelijk nog steeds plaatjes en icons in Windows die soms sinds Windows 95 niet meer veranderd zijn. XPize past meer dan 150 systeembestanden aan om zo icons (van 32x32 tot en met 128x128), animaties en plaatjes aan te passen. Verder kunnen optioneel ook de screensaver en het opstart- en inlogscherm worden aangepast. Op deze pagina zijn diverse screenshots te bewonderen. XPize is beschikbaar in een normale en een Lite-versie, waarbij in de laatste de icons in het formaat 128x128 ontbreken. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:
