De Live CD van Rock Linux is voorzien van een update en heeft als versieaanduiding rev6454 meegekregen. Rock Linux is een verzameling van tools om een GNU/Linux distributie te maken vanaf source. Er worden ook kant en klare versies van Rock Linux uitgeleverd zoals Crystal Rock, Generic Rock en een Live CD. De laatste is voornamelijk gericht op desktops en maakt gebruik van KDE. I just uploaded 2 new livecd ISOs, x86 (pentium-mmx and above) and powerpc (G3 and above). Again, some bugs have been squashed and many packages were updated. The hottest new feature in this release is the integration of 'shadowfs', which enables you to write everywhere transparently - so you can build own packages or install additional .gems at runtime.
