Klovan maakte ons attent op de release van een nieuwe WinBar versie, waarin onder andere verbetering zijn aangebracht aan de module die de Tweakers.net headlines naar binnen hengelt. WinBar kan neergehaald worden op WinBar.nl:
- Improved Tracker module:
- Completely new code for downloading turbotracker, fixing refresh problems.
- WinBar does not need to keep a local tracker file anymore.
- WinBar does not hang anymore while the tracker is being downloaded.
- Added HTTP proxy support. You can specify a proxy port (www.server.com:port).
- Link color is now configurable.
- Icon now shows a small blue dot when working, or a small red dot if an error occurred.
- Clicking the icon now shows the balloon.
- Altered About box: added link to www.shockmedia.nl, the new host of the WinBar site. (Thanks for that!) You can now reach the WinBar site via www.winbar.nl.
