Poco Systems heeft zojuist versie 4 van zijn e-mailprogramma PocoMail uitgebracht. Het programma legt de nadruk op veiligheid. Zo heeft het een eigen HTML-viewer en maakt niet gebruik van Internet Explorer-componenten. Daarnaast kunnen VBScript of JavaScript niet worden uitgevoerd en is er een uitgebreide junk- en spamfilter. Onder de vernieuwingen in versie 4 treffen we onder andere RSS-feeds aan, verbeterde Unicode-ondersteuning en behoren SSL en TLS nu ook tot de mogelijkheden. - Delete messages to IMAP Trash mailbox individually or by deletion orders
- Move messages from one IMAP folder to another folder on the same server by dragging
- Upload messages to your IMAP folder by dragging from local folders
New Faster Index Display and Sorting
- Contacts view (Shift+F5) completely revised
- Better contact overview and easier way of navigating address books and groups
