AlgemeenExternal hard drive ordered in late April, to be delivered by May 6th according to the MaxICT website. Still had not received a shipping confirmation on May 6th so emailed customer service. MaxICT replied indicating that they would check with their supplier and get back to me. I never heard anything back. If I check my order history now, the expected delivery date has been changed to May 24th, but still no email back from customer service. Emailed them again on May 21st, no reply. Today is May 24th and I have received nothing, nor any further email updates.
I paid €340 last month and still do not have this drive. If I check the website now, the price has more than doubled, to €763. So not only do they lie about delivery timeframes, they also try to scalp anyone stupid enough to not shop around. Just a disgrace. After all the negative reviews recounting similar experiences, it really reflects very poorly on Tweakers to still allow this disgusting company to list products here.
Do not order from MaxICT unless you like being lied to and ultimately ripped off. Whether or not they ever deliver this item, they have already stolen from me at this point in terms of my wasted time.
I still have not received the item! It is about a month late at this point.
