I ordered a couple of items from Megekko. After receiving a shipment from Megekko, I noticed one of the items I ordered was missing. When I contacted Megekko they asked me to check the box once more and send them pictures from the box and the items inside the box, which I did. I notified Megekko that I still did not find the missing item (guess what, a missing item does not appear out of nowhere). Up and until this point customer care was nice.
After this point, they started making excuses so they did not actually have to make sure I would receive the missing item. Megekko started to claim they had tons of proof the picked, packed and shipped the item. When I asked for proof, I didn't receive any. But wait, it gets worse. Megekko started to claim the item must have slipped out of the box and under "a closet or something". I replied that this wasn't the case and requested a solution, as I paid for an item which I didn't receive. They sticked to the "must have slipped under a closet or something".
The way they treated the issue is just wrong. It is even against Dutch law, but they just do it... So now I am sitting here without the missing item, even though I paid for it. Now customer care just ignores my email.
End of the story? Megekko is not a go to company when you need good customer care.
