AlgemeenI had a really bad experience buying on MediaMarkt. I simply boght a notebook online and did the payment in advance with my creditcard and asked for a home deliver. It happen that I was home waiting for the purhase and they just delivered to someone else in my neighbourhood, known as "young lady". They couldn't say where or to whon it was delivered. Only thing they have is a scrawl of the person who got the package. And they insisted for a month that there was nothing they could or would do about it. Only when I ask my creditcard operator to cancel the charging (and for that they had to blocked my card and I couldn't use it anymore), that they decided to "refund" me. But in reality what they did was nothing since I had already cancel the charging. Anyway, after all, I still bought the notebook weeks later, but this time I went to pay and pick up at the store. On the email that I got they said they would ask me for the printed invoice plus my ID card, otherwise they couldn't give me the order. Anyway they didn't ask me for anything, so I'm glad I choose to pay at the moment, and apparently the atendent was in a really bad mood. A less important detail was that I still had to pay 0,25 for a plastic bag to take my 750,00 computer home, since it didn't fit anywhere else. So after 2 months I finally got my new notebook, but ir was really a nightmare. Never have had that kind of problem before, and I do a lot of online shopping.
VerzendingFirst it was delivered in the wrong place and to the wrong person. Unknown place and unknow person, so literally thay've lost my purchase. And the second time I went to pick up and pay at the store, to avoid that to happen again.
KlantenserviceFirst, it took too long for them to check for my problem, and, second, they didn't wanted to do nothing about it. I bought for something really expensive wich I didn't receive, so they had two options: to give my money back or to deliver the product that I payed for. It was not my fault that they delivered at the wrong place to some random person that they just don't know the name of. So I'm very unsatisfied with MediaMarkt's customer service.
