This camera is better than I thought it would be and it is perfect for my needs.Picture quality is superb for the size of camera,waterproof too! The standby function is very good; shut the flap and it automatically goes into standby, open it again and it quickly fires up ready to shoot. Good idea to load youself up with spare SD cards and batteries, especially if you're going out for a day or more, spare batteries are cheap,The buttons are a bit fiddly but I can live with that. There's no lens cap, so I take care when handling the camera. The camera is well made and feels very solid, . Editing is no problem on my laptop. The camera is ideal take everywhere in a pocket, so I never miss an event
