Yes, now it's visible that the varistor blew (the blue component); next to it is the fuse resistor. This is the overvoltage protection for the devices.

Something caused a sudden voltage spike on the phase; it was a surge event. It can be anything: a load, a lightning storm, some other outside network issues, etc.

You need to install a surge protector for your grid to protect the devices and your home appliances.

Can you share the invoice for the purchase of the device? Is it just this Plus 1 unit impacted?
Such an external event causing the impact is not covered by the standard warranty. But we can see if we can offer a good discount for the upgrade to Gen3 device.
