- geen compatibiliteit met Nikon (SanDisk en Lexar wel)
Last week I bought two Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 10 cards. In my neighbour's D5000 they both failed after about 10 to 100 pics with the message "Cannot format memory card. Card may be defective. Insert another card." That's partly nice, since we did not ask for a format action!
On the PC I could retrieve the jpgs and re-format the cards, but the same error re-appeared soon! Note that I formatted the cards in the D5000 too every time I inserted them.
After reading http://nikonrumors.com/forum/topic.php?id=1953
I learned that:
- deleting pics within the camera can trigger this error
- the error occurs with various brands but not with SanDisk and Lexar cards
So Nikons appears to work well with SanDisk (that sets the standards) and Lexar (that they partly own) cards only.
I could change the Kingstons for SanDisk cards and feel confident now since my other four SanDisk cards never gave any error in my D90 and my powershots over 25.000 shots.
