Harman Kardon Adapt+ Zwart Review
The android HK controller app does not recognize that the Adapt+ is connected through ethernet LAN. Setting up a wifi connection with the app is a nightmare and not stable. Musicservices are crappy incorporated in the app. It took days of tweaking with this audio streamer to get it stable.

The hardware of the HK Omni + products look promissing but the software and android app are not ready for market. I wanted to setup the HK Omni Adapt+ as audio streamer to my hifi stereo. When connected with ethernet LAN cable my router sees the Adapt+, but the android HK Controller app does not. To connect it with Wifi to my 5 GHz access point (2 m away) took hours of going through the app menu, factury resettings, WPS procedures. Eventually I got it working. Chromecast audio worked. RCA output worked, optical out did not. Tidal is integrated, but MQA tracks are not distinguished and favourites are strangely sorted. A day later the Adapt+ disappeared from my network (Some hours during the night I shut down my wifi for the kids). Again numerous attemps to get it connected to Wifi, but no succes.
Update spring 2021. I noticed that when the Adapt+ is connectet through ethernet LAN and Wlan my router gives it 2 IP adresses. I'm no ict-specialist, but that looks like a flaw in the Adapt+ to me. When connected to only Wlan (via WPS, the adroid app doesn't help) the Adapt+ seems stable and I can see it in my Adroid Home app. I can cast now audio from numerous apps and use spotify connect. I cannot control the volume in the apps when I use the optical out.
