De ASRock Killer SLI valt op met zijn uitstraling, doet het op de meeste vlakken prima, en biedt nog wat extra's zoals een tweede M.2 slot en extra overkappingen. De audio implementatie is echter achterhaald en USB3.1 ontbreekt volledig; de Gaming K4 doet dat voor enkele euro's meer beter.
Pluspunten
Prestaties goed Prima stroomvoorziening en OC capaciteit. voor een typische 24/7 OC Featureset die voor de meesten (ruim) zal voldoen: 2x M.2, 6x SATA, 2x USB 3.0 intern, 2x USB 2.0 intern, 8x USB 3.0 incl 1x Type-C achterop, SLI en Crossfire support, m.2 Wi-Fi module optioneel. 5 fan headers met DC/PWM support Twee RGB LED strip headers, RGB LED element rondom chipset heatsink. Idle stroomverbruik netjes Ruimer dan de concurrentie in visuele voorzieningen; overkapping audio en I/O deel.
Minpunten
Audio implementatie flink minder dan directe en nabije concurrentie, zowel van binnen ASRock als erbuiten. Geen USB 3.1 achterop of intern, wederom opvallend tov directe alternatieven. Voor fanatieke overclockers zijn de features wat beperkt: geen fysieke knoppen, geen blck gen, geen meetpunten.
