It didn't take much time for me to be absolutely amazed by the high quality and fidelity of the sound produced by the SB Live! The sound is so pure, it's almost unbelievable. With the gold-coated connectors of this card, I no longer hear any buzzing sounds coming out when raising the speakers volume to the maximum. Even with the SB Live! Value edition, which doesn't come with gold connectors, the quality is still very high. It's like Creative Labs has taken a professional music studio and transformed it in a PCI card.
hihi ja dat is niet aleen te wijten aan de goldplated conectors maar ook aan de dac chip die er op de kaart zit 
het is namenlijk een dac (digital audio converter) van Cristall en die zijn ook in de audiofielen wereld zeer bekend om hun goede dac's in cd spelers van 3 a' 4000 piek,daar zitten er dan wel 2,4 of 6 in en op die live! zit er alvast eentje !
