Home of Lost Circuits heeft een review gepost van de Asus V3400TNT en heeft daarbij vooral gekeken hoe vriendelijk deze kaart zich gedraagt in een socket7 systeem. SS7 AGP ondersteuning is bagger en de meeste TNT kaarten doen gek op een socket7 plank. Ook met de Asus gaat het niet beter:
he one really diappointing feature of the V3400 is really the fact that not even ASUS bothers to even mention the SS7 platform and related issues in the manual. At current, my advice for anyone running a P5A motherboard and thinking of switching to a TNT card would be to wait. The hassle of eventually getting it working in OpenGL simply isn’t worth it. If you only want D3D games and 2D, the V3400 is a great choice, actually the only game that was seriously slow with the MGA G200, Delta Force with no V2 support runs fine now so that I think about getting back into that game for some serious death matching now. If the compatibility issues would be solved soon and nVidia releases some better 3Dnow! drivers I might consider getting rid of my Voodoo2 card, but right now I’ll keep it.
