Sharky heeft naast die Celeron overclocking guide ook nog een review van Microstar's MS-6119 moederplank met BX chipset.
Hier wat info uit die review:
1998 has been a great year for the Taiwanese mainboard vendor known as Microstar International. Highlighting a list of accomplishments, their early and successful implementation of the ALi Aladdin V Super7 core logic set in the MS- 5169 board was virtually flawless, right from its launch in June of 98. This was no small feat, as the crowded Super7 mainboard market is still struggling today to provide 100% compatibility and stability in their supported products.
The success of the MS-5169 should have been the warning shot over the bow for mainstream board vendors like ASUStek, AOpen, and Abit that MSI was looking to make the move to a "Brand name" vendor like the previous three companies have done.
The MSI mainboard we're reviewing today continues to exemplify the steps that the company is continuing to take to provide users with an option besides just the "big three" while retaining the performance and ease of usage that experienced upgraders have come to expect.
