I have used the single fan unit on a number of Athlon CPU's. The CPU speeds have varied between 500 MHz and 840 MHz , the core voltage between 1.6 and 1.8 volts. These heatsinks have always performed well and there have been no glitches that I can attribute to the heatsink performance.These units are excellent heatsinks and will serve the majority of overclockers and non- overclockers well. Extreme overclockers may want to wait for the copper inlaid unit or devise another method like liquid cooling . These units are a solid aftermarket heatsink and I haven't seen a better Athlon heatsink available at this time. The price of the units is about $30 for a single fan unit with the dual fan about $36. They are available direct from Alpha or though distributors and retailers such as myself.
