We hope the companies offering these budget motherboards will not skimp on voltage regulators, as it is clear that good voltage regulators are necessary to produce a stable motherboard. I doubt customers will mind paying an additional $10 to $15 for a reliable product. We can not recommend the Digicom Pro 2000 at this time, due to the stability/compatibility issues we encountered.A pity, as it is a fast yet inexpensive Slot A motherboard. Clearly the Athlon needs cheaper motherboards to become an attractive upgrade option to the many PC enthusiasts with tight budgets.
