Een beetje late Viper V550 review, maar wel redelijk uitgebreid. Hier een stukkie:
One of the things Diamond Multimedia is known for, unfortunately, is not innovating in the hardware department. The Viper V550 is no exception. Although the retail versions of the Viper V550 come with TV-out, from what I've read that TV-out implementation is not very good. The OEM Viper V550 that I am reviewing doesn't even have TV-out, in fact it is just a standard reference board design. This is not an extremely bad thing, since a reference TNT design still performs really well. But in order for Diamond to be more competitive, they need to offer what the competition offers and more, like high quality SDRAM or SGRAM, a fan, better TV-out, and possibly even video editing capabilities or some other useful thing I haven't thought of.
