Overclock.com heeft een review van het AOC Iceberg peltier heatsinkje neer gelegd. Conclusie: het ding suckt, prestaties zijn slechter als die van een normale heatsink/fan combo:
Stopping by AOC's booth at comdex, this unit caught my eye. They were selling them right at the show, and I had to have one. I took my trusty p3-450 chip(sl35d) with hopes of hitting 600mhz. The highest I could get with regular cooling was 558mhz. Incidentally, my regular cooler is an AOC dual fan job. Installation was easy, it just snapped on after applying some heatsink compound. I plugged it into my abit bh6 board and set the bus to 133mhz. It ran for a few minutes, and then crashed. This is exactly what happened when I tried it with the regular cooler. At this point, I dropped the speed back down to 124mhz, and all ran fine. Maybe my chip just won't run 600mhz? So now the iceberg is running the chip at the same speed as the regular cooler... I did notice that this unit puts out a lot of heat. I would not recommend using it in a case without additional cooling.
