hjs kwam aanwandelen met een linkje richting GeForce vs TNT2 benchmarks bij Team Abuse. Het testsysteem, betaande uit een dual Celeron 300A @ 464MHz, leverde een aantal interessante Quake III benchmark resultaten op:
Now take a peak at this bar chart representation of the data. As you can see, both GeForce cards are much faster than the TNT2 Ultra in both SMP and non-SMP modes. Another thing to note is that the boost for enabling SMP is much larger on the GeForce cards than it was with the TNT2 Ultra. As expected, the performance difference between the two GeForce cards is small at 640x480 but increases as resolution increases (needing more memory bandwidth).
