Bij Gamers Depot hebben ze een review gepost van de errug heftige Klipsch Promedia 2.04 THX speakers. Dit setje is THX-certified en biedt 400 Watt aan brute power! Hieronder een gedeelte uit de test:
The first time you hear the Quake railgun humming through 160watts or pure sass, you'll be heading out to the local store to pick up your favorite brand of adult diapers. The sheer bass that emits from the Promedia's was enough to send the Midiland 4100's and the DTT2500's scurrying away begging for mercy. I'm being overly descriptive here to make a point. Keep in mind that no review can "prove" to you how well something sounds, or how loud they might be.But Klipsch also did an excellent job in blending in the satellites. Most sub/satellite speakers on the market, have a tendency to make the mid-bass sound rather muddy. This is because either their crossover point is too high for the sub, or they are using mediocre drivers or both. This is not the case with Klipsch. With every kind of music we could dig up, the Promedia's kept the mid's and lows sounding strong, yet silky.
I was surprised at how well the horn tweeters blended as well. Most typical "horn tweeters" sound harsh and over powering. The "MicroTractix" horn in the Satellites were a perfect match for the midrange driver.
