I've had this VC820 now for more than a month. I've thrown all types of hardware at it, including GeForce 256 cards, SCSI host adapters, several different ethernet cards, and a PCI video-capture card. It just hums along, seemingly not caring about the PCI slot configuration or which graphics card is installed. I feel quite strongly that stability is more important than performance, so on the stability side, the VC820 has been rock solid. To be fair, I've not installed any RAMBUS modules in the third memory slot, so the potential problem that Intel uncovered several months back hasn't surfaced.
