HardOCP heeft een artikeltje in elkaar gedouwd waarin ze uitleggen welke mods je aan je socket370 plank moet aanbrengen om het ding geschikt te maken voor de nieuwe FC-PPGA Coppermine's. Intel heeft namelijk een paar vuile grappen uitgehaald waardoor oude socket370 modderborden onbruikbaar worden met de Cumine:

Well not only are they ugly rumors but for the most part they are not rumors at all, they are stone cold fact.What Intel has done this time round to throw us off from using our current Socket370 Celeron Boards, such as the beloved ABIT BP6, is move the Location of the #RESET pin. It has been moved from CPU location X4, where it resides on PPGA Celerons, to Location AH4 on the new FC-PPGAs.
We think it might be possible to convert an existing PPGA Socket370 motherboard to Run FC-PPGAs with the addition of a “pull up line” from location X4, to AH4. Without this pull up line the CPU would just hang in reset, just like if you held your figure on the reset button. (You know the way you have to a lot with Windows98!! J)
Verder moet er ook nog een probleempje met de voltage pins worden gefixt. HarOCP kent de oplossing.
