Aureal kondigt Vortex2 SQ3500 Turbo Sound Card aan

Aureal heeft de press release uitgebracht van de nieuwe Vortex2 SQ3500 Turbo geluidskaart die in het eerste kwart van 2000 op de markt komt. Hij zal o.a. ondersteuning bieden voor A3D 3.0, geometry-based reverberation effects en Dolby Digital decoding. Hieronder een stukkie, check hier de rest van de press release.

The Vortex2 SQ3500 Turbo will retail for $199.95 and will come bundled with an impressive array of applications and games, including the new Aureal Vortex Player and complete versions of the latest games that take advantage of the card's capabilities. Aureal will be working closely with its marketing partner, IOM Holdings, to launch it in major retail outlets during the first quarter of next year. Customers will also be able to purchase the SQ3500 directly via the Aureal and A3D Web sites at www.aureal.com and www.a3d.com.

"We expect our latest offering to make some real waves in the PC audio community," said Brendan O'Flaherty, Aureal's Senior Vice President of Operations. "The SQ3500 uses the unprecedented power of both the Aureal Vortex2 processor and our new Turbo DSP module to deliver acceleration for A3D 3.0, advanced geometry-based reverberation, and Dolby Digital decoding - resulting in a package that should appeal to all PC audio users."
