Well you probably all read the title, which kind of gives away all the surprise factor. Yes indeed, there is no cord attached! This mouse uses radio technology to communicate with the transmitter (which plugs into your computer in the PS/2 or Serial Port). The mouse can be away from the transmitter for up to six feet. You will need two AAA batteries for the mouse, which are included and are guaranteed to work for quite a while (around 3-5 months).In my test, this technology proved to be very accurate and I never had transmission problems, but your results may vary depending on the appliances on your home. The mouse can connect on quite a large number of channels/frequencies, which should counteract any problems that you may have with interference. This mouse seems to fit perfectly in your hands, though. The design is one of the best I’ve ever seen and could be considered a piece of art (if there was such a thing as hardware art…).
