Planet Hardware heeft een review van een Kryotech Cool K6-2 500 systeem. Die dingen koelen erg vet, maar zijn ook belachelijk duur ($1600 voor een barebone). Planet Hardware is daarom ook niet erg positief te spreken over het ding:
Mighty impressive specs there for a barebones machine (meaning you have to provide everything but the CPU/mboard/case), but many things prevent this super-cooled machine from acting as a real workstation, as it's meant to be used. For starters, it can't run Windows NT. When basically every real business workstations runs this as an operating system, limiting yourself to only consumer-targeted Windows 95/98 eliminates a big chunk of your audience. Also, the system cannot run SCSI devices in either Windows 9x or Windows NT, without fatal errors and Windows Protection Fault's every other boot up. Both these errors are known by KryoTech, and they will be offering a free hardware revision once the changes are made for customers who already own the box.
