Overclockers.com heeft een review gepost van de Xtreme Heat Sink, een koelertje waarmee je de cache chips van je PII/PIII koud kunt krijgen. Volgens de ervaringen van Overclockers.com helpt het, want een PII-333 die voorheen nauwelijks stabiel was op 500MHz/2,3V doet het tot 550MHz!
I mounted the assembled unit in my Abit BE6. With the Xtreme Heat Sink and the Alpha installed I am now able to run this processor at 550 (5 x 110) at 2.2 volts! It will run 500 @ 2.1 where it previously would only do this at 2.3 volts and still lock up.
