AMD heeft besloten de busspeed van de nieuwe 500MHz K6-2's naar 133MHz te verhogen! Ace's Hardware heeft de info:
To make sure that the K6-x can run at higher speeds than 500 MHz and still perform competitive, AMD decided to increase the FSB speed and hence the speed of the L2-cache and memory to 133 MHz!New chipsets from VIA, Ali, and SIS (SIS 540) will make this possible on NEW super 7 boards in Y2K. The K6-2 CPU's can run fine at 133 Mhz FSB right now, although there is no stable motherboard aviliable. AMD sure puts up a good fight for the low end with Celeron after they attacked the high end with the Athlon.
