Review Zone heeft een artikel in elkaar geparkeerd waarin ze de performance van de TNT2 Ultra, G400 Max en Voodoo3-3500 op een Athlon-650 en Pentium III-650 systeem vergelijken:
OK folks, hope you enjoyed that. It's an early look at what 650MHz possibly could mean, and to do that we had to overclock an engineering sample of the Pentium III to 650MHz to go on par with the Athlon 650. Based on that, as you've already seen, the Athlon does more than hold its own. In fact, if you're a serious gamer you'd do well to seriously think about getting your hands on an Athlon. The Pentium III performance is all right, but the point is simply that when considering the higher-end CPUs you can get an equally clocked Athlon for a lower price.Meanwhile, about the graphic cards. The Voodoo3 3500 is an excellent card and scales very well indeed with higher-end CPUs, though in terms of Quake III performance the TNT2 Ultra card performs much better. With 650MHz CPUs, though, you'll need to push the TNT2 Ultra beyond 175/200MHZ to get the kind of performance that the Voodoo3 3500 does at its default settings.
