Betanews weet ons te vertellen dat Abit een nieuw BIOS voor de BE6 heeft gereleased, die problemen met Western Digital UltraATA/66 schijven zou moeten fixen:
;Received word that there is a new beta BIOS for the ABIT BE6 motherboard. A severe timing error has been found when you attach a Western Digital ATA66 CaviarAA to your BE6 motherboard. OEMs have found problems with this motherboard and the CaviarAA drives only. All other ATA66 drives seem to work fine. A new beta BIOS should be posted to the ABIT website within the next few days.
