Taiwanese wires are reporting that Via, which bought IDT's WinChip and Cyrix earlier this year, will release the latter's Gobi processor in Q4.According to the reports, the Socket 370 part will be aimed at the low end of the market.
Samples have already been sent to a number of Taiwanese motherboard companies for evaluation and volume production will start in six weeks.
