Vortex Advantage PCI This card, as expected, also supports DirectSound hardware accleration which makes it shine in all the new Windows games. The fact that it's also compatible with A3D makes it compatible with the great bulk of games that support this, for positional 3D audio.The MIDI of this card, although very nice on paper, sounded slightly worse than the two other cards. As it's got the easily widest polyphony this weighs up for the quality though. That's if you ever decide to write a piece for 256 instruments =).
