So, what brand am I going to review here? Well, when I bought my new computer about a month ago, it came equipped with real solid Riva TNT2 card made by ASUSTeK: The AGP-V3800. The model I happened to request was the TVR model (features TV out, if you hadn't figured that out) with a good 32MB of video RAM to work with. The version of the card I got happened to be the retail version, not the OEM version, like I usually expect with a new computer or buy myself. With the retail version of the card came this really neat box with all this info on it, but you realize that any company will spend more time on the box than the chipset if it sells the product better than everyone else. Also with the retail version came two games: Turok II and Extreme XG2. Neither of which I really cared about, because I buy a card for the performance value: Not for the neat little extras packaged with it. Hence the reason why I almost always buy the OEM version.
