EBNews has a short story up about Apple possibly becoming the first computer maker to use PC 266 RAM. Didn't even know such a thing existed. Check out the rest of the story. Sounds interesting but is memory really a bottleneck in today's systems, particularly Apple's? Seems to me that they'd be better off speeding up their OS and getting their graphics capability on par first. Perhaps the recently announced OS 9 might be a step in that direction.
