Jobs introduced John Carmack, who stated "Apple finally has their act together with games." Jon announced that Quake Arena (Quake III) is being developed simultaneously for the Macintosh and Wintel, and should be released side by side. Jon later performed a demonstration of Quake III on the new Power Macintosh G3, and it looked beautiful!Steve Jobs then announce the Connectix Virtual Game Station we reported to you about yesterday. The Virtual Game Station will play any PlayStation game on your Macintosh G3, straight out of the box. It was demoed live on stage and will be $49 dollars, as mentioned last night.
