3TC is amazing. Major props go out to S3 for making the performance hit pretty much under 1 fps! There are currently NO games that ship with S3TC-enhanced high-res textures, but the list is growing. Most notably are Quake3:Arena by id Software and Unreal Tournament by Epic MegaGames.
