Given all of these reasons why overclocking is a sensitive subject, when it comes to the Xentor 16, we found that with PowerStrip, a 3rd party graphics utility, we were able to push the 135MHz core on the Xentor to 170 MHz before we started noticing any artifacting. By adding a standard Pentium CPU fan to the heatsink we were also able to get the Memory clock to 195MHz before we noticed any corruption in the image. That is a 21% increase in the core and a 13% increase in the memory speed. Remember, overclocking produces extra heat, and the card may require better cooling to reach these speeds in your system.
