Probably the fastest game I've ever played, Racer relies almost completely on reflexes and quick thinking. Turning the wrong way because you think that's the way the track goes can cost you the race in the blink of an eye. The speed of the game just gets faster as it goes along and as the maps get trickier, but the speed of your pod (thanks to upgrades and a pep-talk at halftime) and your own skill at handling it increases exponentially after each course.
