Linux software RAID & Multi-Display howto's

Ik zag bij Hardware One deze twee artikelen die misschien interessant zijn voor Linux gebruikers:

* Software RAID Howto
* Multi-Head Displays in Linux

Uit het multi-display artikel heb je hier wat plakwerk:

If you're looking for ways to enhance your desktop, and you have the extra hardware available, then the cost and time requirements of multi-head are so low that they justify giving it a try. On the other hand, you may gain no practical benefits other than bragging rights, and there are real drawbacks to such a setup. Two monitors draw twice as much power and take up twice as much space on cluttered desks. In addition, running a proprietary X server may keep you from taking advantage of some programs which use XFree86-specific features, such as VMWare. The bottom line is that unl ess you are a computer graphics professional or something similar, going completely multi-head might not be practical. But if you are an adventurous user, I urge you to give it a try; you may come away pleasantly surprised.
