Let me begin by saying I've had one Quantum hard drive in particular since 1994 that is stick ticking data today. For one I think that's a sign of a quality product, so when I received the Fireball EX for review quality and performance was what I expected and low and behold that's what I got! Every Quantum drive I've used since day one has always been quick and responsive and this one was no exception. The speed and access specifications on the drive were identical to the Fujitsu drive, but for some reason the Quantum seemed to be a little faster. Quantum has been known for making quick drives, but from a numbers stand point the fact that the Quantum would be faster than the Fujitsu doesn't make sense, so maybe it's just my imagination. I would recommend this Quantum drive for any system, it's quick, responsive and reliable. You're probably now asking yourself, how does he come up with this? Well, granted I can't use this drive for a few years like like I did my previous Quantum drive, but in my opinion the drives speak for themselves.
