Alienware heeft bekend gemaakt dat het de Canopus Spectra 5400 TNT2 kaart niet zal gaan importeren in de VS, zo bericht Gamespot. Hoewel voor ons hollanders niet zo belangrijk, gaat 't waarschijnlijk wel betekenen dat we de kaart ook hier in Nederland nooit zullen zien. De prijs is way te hoog:
"It's a great card that offers amazing visual quality," Alienware's Alex Aguila told GameSpot News. "Unfortunately, Canopus is simply asking too much for the 5400. To break even, we'd have to sell the cards for around US$330" - a daunting price for any video card, especially when you consider that Alienware is only weeks away from selling the dual 166MHz Voodoo3 2000 PGC video cards for less.
