The sound quality, when used with any Vortex-2 or SoundBlaster Live board is without a doubt, breathtaking. After experiencing A3D along with EAX 3D positional audio with a four speaker setup like the FPS2000, two-speaker setups simply seem "faked" now, and don't seem to deliver the punch they used to. Sound quality was on par with such incredible setups like Midiland's S2/4100, which is more than twice the price of this setup, and only has two speakers. Sound quality is dramatically helped by the stereo speaker cabling used by higher end setups like this one. The highest notes to the lowest lows were flawless, and were up to stuff with high-end speaker sets.
