After playing a few songs I began to understand one of the best points of this system, good, clear overall sound quality. The satellites output great highs and mids, while the sub belched out clear distinct bass. The sound quality had an overall well-rounded feel, with no frequencies overpowering others. The bass can be cranked up to achieve room shaking proportions, but I preferred to leave it at 50% to get that rounded sound.
