Andy van BXBoards heeft navraag gedaan bij QDI over de werking van hun Twinmagic dual celeron socket. Blijkt dus dat het ding _niet_ werkt met borden van andere fabrikanten (lang leve de BP6?):

I got a mail back from QDI which should quell some of the rumours - the board will NOT work in any other board (which I initially suggested anyway) and therefore -requires- the use of QDI's product...
Here's the info from the horse's mouth...
The TwinMagic is not just the card in the Slot 1 CPU-slot but also the accompanying motherboard because dual processing needs the North Bridge, I/O APIC( this is a component for dual CPU MB, to judge the job should be done by which CPU) and the existing single Slot 1 motherboards do not have that component.
In addition, QDI will not sell the adapter on its own in any case...
