Computers.com heeft een Tamarack scanner gereviewed. Zo te lezen zijn ze niet bepaald te spreken over de kwaliteit van het apparaat:
Unfortunately, both color and grayscale image quality were terrible. Our color sample scan had two areas of inexplicable cloudiness that marred otherwise respectable color saturation. Oddly enough, the same clouds were evident in the sample taken from a Tamarack scanner we reviewed in our first roundup more than a year ago, but the problem doesn't occur on scans from any other manufacturer. With grayscale scans, the images were extremely dark and grainy.
