Dallas, May 27 (Bloomberg) -- Advanced Micro Devices Inc. is trying lure employees from rival National Semiconductor Corp.'s Cyrix division with advertisements on Dallas radio stations, the Dallas Morning News reported. The ads don't mention Cyrix by name, though they solicit employees from a company that recently left the microprocessor business to fill positions at its factories in Austin, Texas, and Sunnyvale, California. A Cyrix spokesman said while many of the division's 300 employees find the ads humorous, they have had little effect and morale at the company remains high, the paper said.
