With Quake 3: Arena, id Software has finally accepted its limitations, and has perfected its craft. Indeed, this could be the best deathmatch game of all time. But for those who crave more than just senseless violence, Quake 3: Arena won't be much fun at all. The bots included (which were shown briefly at E3) appear to be decent, although they've got a long ways to go before they'll pass as actual human players.
