FullOn3D heeft een preview gepost van de Elsa Winner II. Dit is een Savage4 Pro kaart wat wil zeggen dat het ding op 125/143Mhz loopt (110/125 standaard). Hier heb je een stuk uit de conclusie:
The Savage 4 looks like it is in fact a winner for S3. It performs better than I had originally anticipated, which confirms my decision to invest into the company.Aimed at the mass and budget minded market on corporate and non-power gamer desktops, it manages to wedge itself into place between TNT and TNT-2 on AMD machines at the performance level with a feature set that surpasses them: free trilinear filtering, DVD motion compensation, MPEG-2 textures and texture compression.
Offered at a decent price in comparision with the TNT at about the same performance but with better features, a good deal cheaper than the TNT-2 without losing too much on the performance side (and still better features) and finally faster than the Rage 128 (and with some better features unless DVD is your need), the Winner II seems to have a bright future in the budget retail 3Dnow! market where AMD is the leading CPU supplier.
Over overclocking vind ik niets in de preview, verder is het wel goeie info.
